There are several plugins that will do topic moderation and inform admins of new topics.
You can start by simply using the ones in bbpress – go to
Dashboard>settings>discussion and you can set rules on who can post
Additionally there are 2 plugins that work well with bbpress :
| bbPress – Moderation Tools | Add the ability to moderate and approve new topics and replies in bbPress |
| bbPress – Notifications | allows you to automatically send email notifications to specific users when new topics or replies are posted. |
However the plugin in this page does one simple thing, it emails a predefined list when particular words are put in a topic or reply.
Download and set up
Simply download the plugin.
then go into Dashboard>plugins>add new>upload, and upload the zipped file, and then activate
To set up, go into Dashboard>settings>bbp Word Inform, and set up the email and choose the words you wish to be alerted to.
